Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Lake and River Enhancement Program awards grants to enhance aquatic habitat for fish and wildlife and to insure the continued viability of Indiana's publicly accessible lakes and streams for multiple uses. LARE grants are funded through the LARE fee paid by recreational boat owners annually when they register their boats with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
